Kellie Martin is an American actor and actress on television and film. She is most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Her other notable roles include the title role of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. The actress began her acting career in the age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin find a role as an actor on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. Her professional career began after graduating Yale University. This led to her being offered major roles both in the television and film industry. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a skilled photographer and ballet dancer.
